A Message from Richard Kimble

As most of you know, I will be leaving Coharie Country Club on Jan 12, 2025. I have enjoyed my time here and all the great members. I will miss seeing each and every one of you. In wishing you farewell and future success, I took the time to reflect on my time with Coharie Country Club.

On April 3, 2017, I joined the staff here at Coharie Country Club. At that time, I only knew 2 people at Coharie (Brent Parrish and Beth Pope). Since then, I have had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know the many families of this great club. We have been through a lot over the past 7 plus years. We have seen Coharie improve to the quality course that we currently have. We have seen the membership grow and stabilize. We have overcome the period of time where COVID gave us many challenging obstacles. Through it all, the club has been able to stand the test of time. This is a true example of how great this club is.

We have many members that sit on different committees. Their vision and leadership has allowed us to offer the members some great events over the years; events such as the Murder Mystery Dinner, the Father-Daughter and Mother-Son dances, Easter activities, the always popular Member/Guest Tournament, Trunk or Treat, the Adult Halloween Party, Friendsgiving, Middle School and High School dances and the Coharie Adult Christmas party. I hope that everything that we have accomplished over the past 7 years made Coharie Country Club better as a whole and that things will only continue to improve and grow.

I have the opportunity to become the General Manager at Southern Wayne Country Club in Mt Olive. I look forward to the new challenges that are to come for me and my family. I am here to help in any way to make this transition as smooth as possible. I wish the club the very best during this time of change. I will miss all the members and the staff of Coharie.

Sincerely,

Richard Kimble
