NEWS FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT

Hello everyone,

 As June begins, we have begun a more normal mowing schedule. We are really trying to get through mowing rough, fairways and tees at least twice a week. We are also getting more aggressive with the greens heights as well, as to speed up the greens speed. We are going to also begin rolling greens behind the mower more frequently. The fairway heights are down as well, so you should get a better roll on your drives and improve distances.

 June will also bring aerification for the greens, and we ask for your patience in this process. This will rid the greens of thatch and bring faster green speeds. Bailey Woods has started officially and he’s doing great, hopefully you’ve had the chance to speak with him.
