NEW FROM THE POOL

Summer is almost here! Repairs are being made, the pool will soon be filled, and the umbrellas and chairs will be out soon.

I think this year we will be able to schedule pool parties as in the past. The pool will be available for parties on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00 pm and also on Saturday mornings at 10:00. If there is a party, the pool will be closed except for the party. If you’re thinking about having a pool party this summer, you may want to go ahead and call 592-6745 to reserve the pool since there are limited days when the pool will be available.

In order to meet the requests of our members, we will be offering swimming lessons again this summer for children and adults. Rhett Saylors taught swimming at Coharie last summer with great success and has even more students signed up for this summer. If you want to sign up your child (or yourself) for swimming lessons, text me and I will send you his contact information.

The pool will open Saturday, May 29, at 11:00 a.m., and will be open through Memorial Day, May 31. We will be closed Tuesday, June 1 through Friday, June 4, but will open full-time for the summer on Saturday, June 5, at 11:00 a.m.
