On July 20 Coharie was proud to host sectional qualifying for the 72nd Carolinas Jr. Boys Championship and the 17th Dogwood Jr. Boys Championship.

In the Carolinas Jr. Boys Qualifier, Jake Clayton of Burlington, NC, Drew Greene of Greenville, NC, Luke Mosley of Greenville, NC, and Will Tharin of Rocky Mount, NC earned medalist honors with a score of oneunder-par 71. 12 qualifying spots and ties were available at this qualifying site. The cut line fell at three-overpar 75 with 13 players advancing to the 72nd Carolinas Jr. Boys Championship, at Treyburn Country Club in Durham, NC.

In the Dogwood Boys Qualifier, Luke Mosley of Greenville, NC earned medalist honors with a score of oneunder-par 71. 14 qualifying spots and ties were available at this qualifying site. The cut line fell at six-over-par 78 with 14 players advancing to the 17th Dogwood Jr. Boys Championship, at Statesville Country Club in Statesville, NC.

Coharie’s Hudson Griffin participated shot an 80 and Will Morgan shot 79.
