SAMPSON CLASSIC GOLF TOURNAMENT

On November 5th Coharie hosted the 19th Annual Sampson Classic Golf Tournament in Memory of William M. Johnson Jr. It was sponsored by the Sampson Community College Foundation. The money raised is used for student scholarships at SCC. There were 23 teams than were divided into 4 flights. Below are the winners of each one. Congratulations to all, especially the Lakewood Country Club team who were the overall winners!

Lakewood Country Club took home 1st place in Flight One. Team members included Larry Baggett, Meghan Holbrooks, Owen Nichols, and Jimmy Raynor.

First place in Flight Two went to Smithfield Hog Production. Team members include Jamie Locklear, Dennis Puckett, Mike Chuchacz, and Neil Armstong.

First place winner of Flight Three was the ClintonSampson Chamber of Commerce Team. Team members were Jason Smith, Matt Stone, Neil Hobbs, and Steve Williams.

First place winner of Flight Four were the Strickland Wolfbackers. Team members were Brandon Strickland, Bryan Strickland, Clint Strickland, and Sherrill Strickland.
