MONTHLY STATEMENTS
Monthly statements are sent on the 1st of each month and per our Bylaws, payment is due by the 10th of that same month.
Bank account drafts and credit card payments are processed on the 10th of the month and members paying by check or cash should make sure they send payment by the 10th of each month. Timely payment by members ensures we are able to make timely payment to our vendors.
Coharie Country Club's preferred payment for Member "house" accounts is automatic bank draft. We are encouraging members that are not currently utilizing bank drafts to contact the office to set this up today. Automatic bank draft benefits both members and the Club in the following ways:
*Set and forget – Bank draft only needs to be set up once (unless you change bank accounts). There’s no need to set payment reminders, log into internet banking to make a payment, write a check and hope the Post Office delivers it on time, or withdraw large sums of cash.
*In control and protected – Statements are emailed to Members on the 1st of each month, but bank drafts are not completed until the 10th, giving you advance notification of the amount to be drafted. This also gives you time to challenge any charges on your account. You can also trust you’re your bank account information is always secured.
*Better for budgeting – As members of the Club, we are all invested in making sure our Club thrives. Your on-time payment ensures we are able to pay our vendors and staff on time. It also helps us manage our budget and plan future projects. Bank drafts can also help you budget since you know your payment will be drafted on the same date each month.
*Financial reward – No fees are charged to members for bank drafts. However, the Club is charged fees of up to 4% for credit card payments. We work hard to keep costs and fees as low as possible, and using bank draft could help avoid the Club from implementing credit card processing fees.
*Avoid the hassle of late payment calls and emails – Since bank drafts are completed on the 10th of each month, which is the monthly due date for account payments, you won’t get called or emailed with reminders to make payments. That also means you are not at risk of being assessed late fees.
Members may contact the Bookkeeper at 910-592-6745 or Richard prior to the 10th of each month with any questions regarding your statement or to discuss any special circumstance regarding payment.
