NEWS from the POOL

The water was chilly, but we did have some diehard swimmers at the pool the last weekend in September.

In spite of Covid 19, we had a great summer at the Coharie pool! We were even able to stay open for week-ends in September. Thank you to everyone - the board, Richard, the people who gave money, and especially to Tripp Williamson who had the idea to keep the pool open - who made it happen. Thanks also to all of you who came out to enjoy the pool; we had lots of swimmers this summer…and to the lifeguards who made sure everything was clean (and sanitized!) and that everyone was safe. I heard many compliments about the lifeguards this year, and we all appreciate them. They have done a great job!

If you have any suggestions in reference to the pool, please let me know. Have a great school year, and we’ll see you next summer for fun ‘n’ sun at the Coharie pool!

Susan Sautter, pool manager

Most of the lifeguards pitched in to close up the pool for the winter. Here's the final summer lifeguard photo of those who helped. They are an awesome group!
